My daughter crochets. This is a glove she made for herself when it was still rather chilly in the Poconos earlier this year. The gloves look really nice and are a cool style that I’ve never seen before.
She’s an amazing artist in so many ways. Not only is she a fabulous singer (I’ll be posting some of her music soon), but she is very creative in other areas of the arts, including drawing.
She’s a smart young woman with talent. And I’m proud of her. I often wonder what made her little spirit pick me to be her mom. Both my daughters for that matter. Of all the mothers in the universe, they picked me. It is such an honor to be their mother, and I hope that I never dishonor their spirits by doing anything that could make them less than great human beings on this planet. Their energetic souls look to me to teach them what they may not know about this world. And my job is to learn from them what I’ve forgotten about this world. They are amazing souls. Ladies, I honor you always.
As for her crocheting skills…I hope she keeps it up. She’s good…and can only get better. She’s made skull caps and is working on other things I’m sure. I’m still waiting for my gloves.
