poem: to serve me

IMG_3025.JPG

Serve me with red wine
Taste the spices of my soul
Drink from my Creator
Let my bouquet delight your senses
Let the dew of life
Awaken your spirit
Sip my nectar of happiness
Let the flavor come alive
Wanting so much more
Enslaved by my appetite
Desiring to serve me

rolling the bowling ball

IMG_1950.JPGYes, I bowl. Don’t laugh. It is actually a rather interesting game. Ok, so all I do is roll a ball and hit a few pins. But it really does take some level of skill to knock down those little suckers.

I enjoy going to the bowling alley periodically on a Saturday night. I certainly don’t go enough. Been easily about four plus months since I’ve been there. They crank up the music, dim the lights and the pins begin to glow.

It’s like a bowling party without the ice cream and cake. Anyhoo, I hope to get out soon to do a bit of ball rolling. If nothing else, it’s good exercise.

living without boundaries

IMG_2895.JPGThere is a life, out there, beyond the horizon that beckons us to find it. It calls to us like a siren in the night, reminding us that life is to be lived, without the boundaries of this modern society. It is how our ancestors once lived. No borders, no money, no system that attempted to enslave us physically and mentally through its machinations.

We were free to roam and enjoy the earth, unhindered. In many ways, we can still live without boundaries. But we have to dig deep within our souls to find the strength and will to live boundless. It isn’t an easy thing. We’ve been bound up for so long, we’ve almost forgotten what it means to be free…what it feels like to be free.

Inside the far reaches of me, I am free. I live with a joy that resounds within the core of my being. Freedom speaks to me and echoes everything me…my thoughts, my emotions, my beliefs, me. Freedom echoes from the tips of my toes to the ends of my hairs. It dances around my aura and whispers sweetness that leaves me giggling like a child.

My spirit, filled with boundless energy, gyrates to the forces that swirl to and fro, hither and thither. I swing and sway and let the joy of life break down borders, erase lines, burn into ash all limitations unnatural to my energy force. I am electric, moving through everything as everything moves through me. And I sing. I sing my body electric. I celebrate the me that has come and will always be.

My only law is the law of the universe. And those laws are ever changing, bound within a boundless infiniteness. Endeavor to live without boundaries, as a great energy force, electric and free.

eating sunshine

Nectarines just might be nectar from the gods. Their potent red skin conceals the bright yellow flesh that is a twin to the sun. The sun, with its powerful rays, maintains and sustains life, just as the nectarine maintains and sustains the body. nectarine

It illuminates the cells as the sun illuminates the very core of our existence. We are the sun, the sun is us. Each tender bite of that gentle fruit is a reminder of the power of the sun. It is through the ever present rays that life is brought forth in the form we now know.

A nectarine is amongst the many sensual fruits. It engages the spirit with invisible fingers that tenderly caress every part of the body. Its sweetness is sexy, and its scent is like pheromones. Once eaten, the nectarine and my body become one, a symbiotic existence that can never be broken.

Eating a nectarine is like eating sunshine. And in turn, translating into an orgasmic experience that defies even the great power of nirvana.
