a walk on the beach

This year was too chilly here in the Poconos to take a walk on the beach. But last year I enjoyed feeling the water rush between my toes, and the sand gather around my feet. I had on a long skirt that I had to hike up so it wouldn’t get wet. But it would have been all the same to me.

The water was mountain air cool, even at the height of summer. Not the water I’m used to, which is more like my island home, Jamaica. The waters there are clear and not as cool as the mountain waters.

It was a nice walk on the beach. I hope I can do it again soon. Maybe next year, or maybe on my next trip to Florida. We’ll see. The year is not yet over.

hands of time redux

On August 12th I posted a piece called ‘hands of time’. The song I spoke of is one I find to be filled with meaning. I’ve decided to share it here. It is called Hands of Time by Groove Armada.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

What comes to mind for you?

I’ll just let this one sink in.

Redux.

Not much needs to be written.
