poem: earth
She awakens Her spirit by bringing life to Her soul,
Her children; Her beauty.
She nurtures Her children, feeding them from the goodness of
Her bosom.
Her laughter is the wind and the mighty storms Her dance.
She lives so that Her beauty can have everlasting life.
She shows us that we are the mountains,
tall and strong.
We are the rivers, wide and deep.
We are the gazelles, swift
And the mantis, patient, watchful.
As the lion stands proud like a god of the wilderness,
So we stand, like jewels in a crown.
She shows us Her strength through Her natural essence.
Some mistake Her gentleness for frailty and weakness.
Gentleness is true power.
She is everything that a mother should be.
Even in Her death She is renewed, again,
with time,
Bringing forth new life and new possibilities.
Oceans flow into oceans, journeying on an endless path.
Fruits bring forth seeds that are fruits within their hearts.
In this way, Mother must change.
Transforming Her love into a greater love
That transcends time.
Mother never truly dies.
Her spirit reborn in the new season
shows us that she has left a legacy of love.
Mother Earth;
Earth Mother.
Two inseparable Entities
One unconditional, immortal love.

poem: deeper

It is somewhere we’ve never been before
That vision many claim can never be ours
Yet, somehow we know it’s there, waiting for us to find it
It is somewhere within us, deeper than the ocean we hope to know
We thought if we came close to it
We would be able to catch its tail end; feel its power
Yet, somehow that was not enough to make us whole
It is somewhere outside of us, farther than the sky we hope to reach
As we cry about our losses and hope for a better tomorrow
Our emotions race, sometimes to the brink of insanity
Yet, somehow we know nothing else matters but this moment
It is somewhere in our spirit, deeper than the love we can’t seem to claim
We crave for the time when we can see the likes of tomorrow
That tomorrow that’s so far away, we didn’t know it existed
Yet, we wait for the inspiration that might come.
It’s here, stronger than all the lives we had before
Sweeter than all the dreams we thought would never come true,
Greater than all the past that has prepared us for tomorrow,
Deeper than all the thoughts that carry us through today.

poem: gypsy soul
I danced under the moonlight
One hot summer night
Wishing the shadows
Would never end
Enticed by the sounds
Of a billion lifetimes
I stretched my hands to the sky
In wonder and admiration
Images playing upon my breast
Caressing my body with ghostly fingers
Arousing my spirit with
Whispers from the wind
Drumbeats begin to
Pound my heart rhythm
Rousing me to dance
Entrancing my gypsy soul
This night will be the moment I remember
This was the time when the gods
Sent golden blood
Rushing through my veins
Erotica lives within me
Heal my desires
Quell my passions,
For tonight

poem: twenty-four play
Arms intertwined in a web of honey;
Legs unfolding, succumbing
To invitations of pleasure;
The dew of life drips
Into the vat of my tongue;
I spiral upwards into
A dizzying ecstasy;
Tongues intertwined
Sizzling like hot butter;
The volcanic heat erupts,
My thoughts spiral downward
Into the chamber of my spirit;
The snug walls of my desire
Contract with longing;
Midnight approaches
Twenty-four o’clock;
Playtime is over;
Enter my world.
